CRISTIANO RONALDO RETIRES

Cristiano Ronaldo, the famous Portuguese footballer has retired after playing his last match with Spain on 6th July, 2026.  The footballer was seen been posted by fans on various social media platforms praising him on a job well done as a striker from 2006 to 2026 and also giving global recognition to his country – Portugal, as far football is concerned. That is, a period of serving on the field for good 20 years for teams and country to earn a total of 976 goals as a player, including competitive appearance for various clubs like Real Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United, etcetera.

In an interview with him during the FIFA World Cup before (5th July, 2026) his last match, the footballer mentioned that, this 20years journey wasn’t done by his might nor strength but the Grace of God and he will forever be grateful to HIM for seeing him through this far. Also, addressing the interviewer, he stated that no matter the outcome or results of his last match between Spain, he Ronaldo will leave to retire with a clear conscience and would not say he is 100% or 1000% perfect in terms of that as well, but he believes he will leave to retire with a clear conscience in his mind and heart of having been a good a player for his teams in all these years.

Again, he said, it is testified across the world that his performance on the field was the best and enough, so far as football is concerned. Even though there may be some criticisms of how he played sometimes, he still believe and knows that he gave absolutely everything he had like skills, wisdom, experience, passion, love for the game of football and so far, he is also doing so much well in life and gives thanks to God for that, as well.

He further also explained how deeply he loves football games and there was no doubt about the love and passion he had for the game from childhood till now. However, whatever be the case with Spain as his last match, he wouldn’t over-pressure himself just because, he feels he has reached the end of his career and so, must by all means ensure to get the CUP for his country once more. Adding that he only commit the game to God and may his best, on the field as a player, be enough and may God’s Will Be Done, as well.

Apart from that, some fans of Cristiano Ronaldo who proudly also posted and praised the legend cited that throughout his career; he made charity to people without noise, extremely also disciplined himself without getting involved in troubles to be trolled on socials, donated his blood to affected patients and in hospitals to support them, drank no alcohol, had no traces of smoking or what so ever and never also tattooed himself; which means he was a dedicated, disciplined and committed footballer who knew many young ballers were looking up to him. As such, there was the need for him to leave the best hallmark for generations and generations to witness and emulate.
