Ghanaian actor – Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as Lilwin has publicly announced that one of his children is not his biological son, after he had conducted DNA tests on all the five children. He made this known today, during a live session on Tiktok with his followers.
He declared that for about 9 to 10 years now, he has fathered this child performing all responsibilities expected of a dad, even though he had doubts from onset about this said child. But just recently, something occurred in his matrimonial home, triggering him to conduct a DNA test on all the five children. Low and behold, his instincts got justified when results of the DNA test proved that, one of the children is not his; and that this particularly child also, was not either birthed by his first wife but second wife.
From Lilwin, even though results of such issues breaks homes and marriages, on his part, he took the situation normal and found no reason to be angry at the child or shirk his responsibilities, hence forward. This is because, he believes the child in question is innocent and need not to bear the consequences of such actions, so currently, he is still taking very good care of the said child. He also added that there are numerous children in his care currently also, whom their basic necessities like food, clothing, shelter, school fees and many more are all in his list of expenses. As such, he feels taking care of this child who is not his, likewise, represent the responsibilities he bears for the other children as well.
During this Tiktok live, Lilwin nearly also disclosed the results of the DNA as an evidence to prove to his followers that, he was dead serious of what he had just announced. Jokingly at the live session, he biblically quoted that – “Even at the time when Mary also conceived Jesus Christ, it was Joseph who later took full responsibilities and care of Jesus, as such, it is normal for him to also reciprocate that on this said child”.
Thus, he used the opportunity to advised men not to hate on children whom after DNA test proves otherwise. Considering the fact that, these men one way or the other may be indirectly taking care of other people’s children, as he is also doing.
However, Lilwin asserted that, since some of these women knows clearly that, their child or children may not be for their current husbands, they should do well not to irritate their husbands or be cautious with the rate at which they mistreats their husbands, disrespect them or usually wanting to cause them troubles. Since, such attitudes or demeanor may somehow erode the love the man might have been having for the child.
Opinions from the public
The public upon hearing the news shared their thoughts on how some women presently are desecrating their matrimonial homes, all in the name of wanting to “cheat back on their husbands”. They termed the attitude as uncultured, immoral, unprincipled, shameful, unethical, and a violation of vows said. So they explicitly flared-up that if women in marriages feel fed up on their husbands violating their marriage vows, the best they can do, is seek for a divorce than to disgrace the whole womanhood by committing adultery.
